9th MEETING OF AGRI WINE TOURISM OF THE CANARY ISLANDS

The Chair of Agritourism and Wine tourism of Canary Islands of the Canary Islands Institute of Agri-Food Quality and of the University of La Laguna promotes the 9 th Meeting of Agri Wine tourism of Canary Islands which will take place at Arona on the island of Tenerife, the days 17, 18, 19 y 20 of July of 2024.

This Meeting with the  haracter of an international  congress is open to the  articipation of experts,  rofessionals, researchers,  professors and authorities related to agritourism, wine tourism, gastronomic and rural tourism. Its international nature, has in this edition a special consideration with the archipelagos of Azores, Cabo Verde and Madeira, which together with the Canaries conforms the region of the Macaronesia, as well as other regions that develops the Agri Wine tourism sector.

The 9th Meeting of Agri Wine Tourism Canary Islans has the institutional support of the Arona Town Council through its Tourist Board, the Government of the Canary Islands, Promotur Turismo de Canarias, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Tourism of Tenerife, Management of the Rural Environment of the Canary Islands through the Volcanic Xperience programme, and is financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU» through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism via the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

The 9th Meeting of Agri Wine tourism of the Canary Islands that will take place in the month of July of 2024 on the island of Tenerife, pretends to analyse the investigations linked to the activities of agritourism, wine tourism, and gastronomic tourism, and with other theme related with the areas of these activities.

Key dates

  • For being accepted for revision the abstract has to been send inexcusably before 30th April of 2024.
  • Notification of acceptations, within a maximum of 7 days.
  • Presentation of accepted communications until 15th June of 2024.
