Prof. Dr. José Elías Conde González holds a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Universidad de La Laguna, and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry (Departmental Unit of Analytical Chemistry at the Universidad de La Laguna).
His research activity includes Analytical, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry. He is mainly involved in separation methods, mass spectrometry, chemometrics and chemical technology.
Coordinator in INTERREG III B projects, researcher in the Structuring Project Nanoscience, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, NANOMAC). In recent years he has focused on the application of Gas Chromatography and HPLC equipped with fluorescence detector, diode array, and detection by mass spectrometer in different analytical problems; and Nanomaterials.
He has directed 2 doctoral theses and co-directed Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA), final degree projects and final master’s projects. His research activities in the field of new materials and their application have resulted in the publication of several articles and participation in several conferences.
