The XXXII SIUCC. Inter-University Workshop on Philosophy and Cognitive Science
The SIUCC Inter-University Workshop on Philosophy and Cognitive Science has been organized under the auspices of the SEFA (www.sefaweb.es) since the society’s founding in 1994. Invited speakers are asked to present their work,which may consist of new research or revised versions of earlier publications.
This year the workshop will be focused on the work of David Chalmers (New York University). The aim of the conference is to foster the exchange of ideas and scholarly discussion through the presentation of ten selected contributions, each paired with a discussant, addressing philosophical topics related to Chalmers’ work.
Venue
All sessions will be held in the Salón de Grados, located in the Philosophy Department building on the Guajara Campus of the Universidad de La Laguna.

All keynote lectures by David Chalmers will take place at 5:00 PM, and the titles are as follows:
- “The Science of Consciousness”
- “Consciousness and AI”
- “AI and the Philosophy of Mind”

About the SIUCC
Each SIUCC Workshop is centered on the work of a major contemporary philosopher. This XXXII SIUCC will take place at the Universidad de La Laguna, hosted by the Sección de Filosofía and PoVINv (Points of View Philosophical Investigations), from June 25th to 27th, 2025.
