Puerto de la Cruz is a touristic town located on the northern coast of Tenerife island, one of the main Canary Islands, Spain. Puerto de la Cruz is in the beautiful Orotava Valley. This picturesque town was the first touristic city of the archipelago in the 60s, known for its charming streets, beautiful beaches, and a lively tourist atmosphere. It is popular among visitors seeking a combination of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and a sunny coastal atmosphere. The coastal areas entice snorkelers and scuba divers to explore the crystal-clear underwater world teeming with a diversity of fish, endemic algae, echinoderms and other invertebrates. Puerto de la Cruz offers a thriving culinary scene, providing visitors with the opportunity to indulge in traditional Canarian cuisine, and international options including Italian, Oriental, Indian and more. It is rich in culture, with historical landmarks and vibrant cultural events such as music festivals and dance.
