Las tareas corresponden a un cuestionario escrito que contestaron alumnos\/as de 2\u00ba y 4\u00ba de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO). Se analizan el \u00e9xito y las estrategias de resoluci\u00f3n en las respuestas. Los resultados muestran dificultades conceptuales importantes en cuanto al concepto de fracci\u00f3n y en la estimaci\u00f3n de representaciones de fracciones elementales, as\u00ed como una escasa asociaci\u00f3n de la multiplicaci\u00f3n de fracciones con el \u00e1rea de un cuadril\u00e1tero.
