Las investigaciones sobre educaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica en esta poblaci\u00f3n no son numerosas y est\u00e1n dedicadas, principalmente, a conceptos num\u00e9ricos. Los resultados muestran una evoluci\u00f3n positiva en el \u00e9xito sobre la adquisici\u00f3n de conocimiento matem\u00e1tico por parte de estas personas. Esto se debe a la integraci\u00f3n de estos alumnos en las escuelas ordinarias y al seguimiento de metodolog\u00edas adaptadas a su discapacidad.
