Pedro García
I am a prospective Ph.D. candidate in the field of geoarchaeology for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic year. My academic background includes specializations in Archaeological Sciences (MA in Applied Sciences to Cultural Heritage, Materials, and Sites, University of Padova) and Underwater Archaeology (MA in Maritime Civilizations, University of Haifa). My research focuses on geoarchaeological studies applied to Middle Paleolithic contexts and the aboriginal societies of the Canary Islands. Recently, I have actively contributed to underwater excavations and have been involved in the training of Convolutional Neural Networks in micromorphology.
