Pedro García-Villa

Pedro García-Villa is a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Carolina Mallol. My Thesis dissertation involves geoarchaeological analyses of different sites in Tenerife, joining micromorphology, lipid biomarkers and other proxies. I am specialized in geoarchaeology and underwater archaeology following my Master’s studies: MA in Applied Sciences to Cultural Heritage, Materials, and Sites (University of Padova) and MA in Maritime Civilizations (University of Haifa).

His research interests revolve not only on the study of the aboriginal societies of the Canary Islands but also on Levantine Middle Paleolithic contexts and new applications of IA and soil micromorphology.
