I am an archaeologist with expertise in organic residue analysis. My research focuses on the study of the biomolecular archaeological record of prehistoric sites. In my Ph.D., I am working on the analysis of lipid biomarkers preserved in the lithic and sedimentary records of the Middle Palaeolithic site of El Salt (Alcoy, Spain). This investigation aims to uncover insights into the management and utilization of organic resources by Neanderthal groups, while also providing a deeper understanding of the paleoenvironmental context of the site during the last glacial period.
