Enrique Fernández-Palacios

I am a PhD student specialized in high-resolution geoarchaeological techniques (lipid biomarker analysis and archaeological soil micromorphology). My research currently focuses on reconstructing formation processes and paleoenvironmental context of aboriginal occupation sites on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands). I am also training in paleobotanical techniques to assess whether climatic shifts have any effect on the thrift of agriculture in La Palma.
