Álvaro Castilla Beltrán

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Geography and History, University of La Laguna. I have multidisciplinary background: my Ph.D. is in Geography (University of Southampton), my Master in Archaeology (Leiden University), and my BA in History (Universidad de Sevilla). My research consists of the application of archaeobotanical and paleoecological analyses in sedimentary records to study how humans have transformed island ecosystems and adapted to insular life across the Atlantic.
