y estrategias de mercado\u00b4, coordinado por el subdirector de la C\u00e1tedra de Agroturismo y Enoturismo de Canarias del Instituto Canario de Calidad Agroalimentaria y de la Universidad de La Laguna, Gabriel Santos Garc\u00eda, ha puesto de manifiesto que la enogastronom\u00eda representar una oportunidad para potenciar el turismo en la Isla, revitalizar zonas rurales y generar una imagen de marca de un destino, adem\u00e1s de fortalecer y mantener el sector primario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La consultora en comunicaci\u00f3n y docente de la Universidad Oberta de Catalunya N\u00faria Escalona Nicol\u00e0s, junto a la ge\u00f3grafa y sommelier americana Larissa Simon, y el t\u00e9cnico coordinador del programa Saborea La Palma Jes\u00fas Garc\u00eda \u00c1lvarez, han aportado con su participaci\u00f3n como ponentes invitados, de su particular visi\u00f3n del presente y futuro del turismo enogastron\u00f3mico desde una perspectiva de mejora para desenvolver la econom\u00eda de la Isla.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s el nutrido grupo de alumnos asistentes, integrado en su mayor\u00eda por profesionales que ya desarrollan su labor dentro de las actividad tur\u00edsticas, personal de hoteler\u00eda, empresarios y productores del sector agroalimentario, han contado con la participaci\u00f3n en el programa del taller con la presencia de Patricia Perdomo Hern\u00e1ndez, viticultora y propietaria de Bodegas Piedra Jurada y del chef de El Duende del Fuego Pedro Hern\u00e1ndez Castillo, que han desarrollado como cierre el maridaje que ha llevado por nombre \u201cLocal in extremis\u201d, una experiencia gastron\u00f3mica con productos de la isla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este taller coordinado por la C\u00e1tedra de Agroturismo y Enoturismo de Canarias del Instituto Canario de Calidad Agroalimentaria y de la Universidad de La Laguna, se han englobado en la apuesta formativa de la Universidad de Oto\u00f1o &#8211; Invierno que promueve el Cabildo de La Palma conjuntamente
