Travelling to San Cristóbal de La Laguna

     
Fly to Tenerife Tenerife North Airport (TFN) – 5 km from La Laguna, served by Iberia, Vueling, Binter, CanaryFly and Ryanair with daily connections from Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, mainland Europe and other Canary Islands.
Tenerife South Airport (TFS) – 60 km away; long‑haul and most low‑cost international flights. Hourly buses connect TFS to La Laguna (≈ 80 min).

Inter‑island ferries Fred.Olsen & Naviera Armas run daily ferries from Gran Canaria to Santa Cruz de Tenerife harbour; tram/bus to La Laguna in 30 min.  
Visas & entry Spain is in the Schengen Area. EU/EEA and many passport holders enter visa‑free; others may need a short‑stay visa. Check with your nearest Spanish Consulate early.  
Local transport A single tram ticket within the metropolitan area costs €1.35; a rechargeable TEN+ card lowers fares. Buses (TITSA) cover the entire island.  

Tip: January is high season; book flights early and keep boarding passes for discounted TITSA bus fares.
